CCAIO LAUNCHES THE TRIP ON THE SILK ROAD

 ON THE SEA FROM BANGKOK

Thailand, as a crucial member of ASEAN countries, has a close relationship with China in both business and culture communications under the “The Belt and Road” strategy.

On the occasion of Vesak Day, a most important festival among the Southeast countries, CCAIO launches the cultural and art trip in Thailand with the invitation of H.E. Mr. Korn Dabbaransi, President of Thai-Chinese Friendship Association, to realize its principle of “Art · Communiation · Peace”.

Mr. Korn always says “Thailand and China are a family”. It’s the voice from the bottom of his heart. On July 1, 1975, Former Thai Prime Minister Kerry Bamo and Foreign Minister Chancellor Ch'eng Havan led a delegation to Beijing to sign a joint communiqué on the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China, establishing a historical milestone for the friendship of the two countries. At that time, he served as Assistant Minister and Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being responsible for the delegation's and Thailand's domestic contact work. After the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China, under the initiative of Premier Chou En-lai, China and Thailand jointly established the Chinese-Thai Friendship Association and the Thai-Chinese Friendship Association to promote friendly exchanges between the people of the two countries. Premier Chou Enlai and Chancellor Ch'eng Havan were the first presidents respectively.

In September, 2006, H.E. Mr. Korn attended the first Silk Road(Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo as a VIP with the invitation of Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and CCAIO’s invitation. During his stay in China, Mr. Korn expressed his wishes to hold all sorts of Chinese cultural events and develop cultural projects with Chinese characteristics in Thailand, allowing the local people to experience the Chinese culture in person. After his return to Thailand, he kept making efforts to coordinate with the local institutions and invite CCAIO to pay visits in Thailand for the project implementations for three times.

Chinese Culture & Art International Organization (CCAIO), jointly launched by Steven C. Rockefeller Jr., and Christine Gong. It’s a sustainable large-scale international art promotion project. CCAIO holds international itinerant art exhibitions and high-class social activities in the historical and cultural architectures all over the world. The exhibition in Thailand titled “Ushering Of An Era Heralded By Great Art” The Art Of Dachan World Tour Exhibition will start from May 5 and last the whole month in the National Gallery, Thailand.
