CCAIO Co-Organized the 2015 Milan Expo International Culture& Art Exchange Project in China’s Pavilion

The International Culture & Art Exchange Project of 2015 Milan Expo: “The Heritage and The Transmutation—— Ink Milan Expo Art Exhibition” (Hereinafter referred to as Expo Art Exhibition) was opened on Oct. 23rd in the Chinese Pavilion for Milan Expo. Management Committee of Special Fund Application for China Sinology, Huading for China Sinology, co-hosted the exhibition together with Chinese Culture and Art International Organization(CCAIO).  The Cultural Officials of Chinese Consulate in Milan, the Curator of Chinese Pavilion for Milan Expo, the Official of Italy Organizing Committee,Representative of the Confucius Institute at UCSC(Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore), celebrities of the European art field and the local media in Italy witness the opening ceremony the declaration of the exhibition’s first stop in Milan Expo together. “Ink Milan”, as an important event that display the beauty of the Chinese traditional paintings as well as the spiritual connotation of modern ink art, is a crucial component of the events in Chinese Pavilion for Milan Expo.

The art exchange event during the Milan Expo consists of four parts: art exhibitions, academic forums, interlibrary exchange visits and the exhibition in the Confucius Institute at UCSC, showing the world the charm of Chinese painting and calligraphy art, and the cultural and artistic long history. Both the domestic and foreign arts took participation in the Expo Art Exhibition. It shows the history of the heritage and transmutation of the Chinese Ink art since the 20th century, and the language conversion possibility for the Chinese ink art injected by the rich changes of the social context. On the other hand, it’s also a display of the mutual art interactions, understandings and dialogues between the Chinese and Western arts.Jiang Zhaohe, Fanois Bossiere(French), Gao Runxi, Qi Ming, Tang Jian,Dong Zhilin, Feng Zhicai and some other artist’s works are on display.

After the Milan Expo, the exhibition will come to Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and other places. There will be an international circuit show in France, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and other countries as well, continuously promoting exchanges, understandings and dialogues between Chinese and foreign cultures and arts.

Ink is from China, also belonging to the world!
